Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

So..... Now that I'm done with my concentrations FINALLY.. And I have 3 weeks left of school..
Well. ~catfarts is getting an apartment in June. I'm hoping to move in with her by September and she's going to be having roomies and stuff. But because I'm moving in, I have to pay $50 and fill out a form, and I'm going to be helping with rent when I'm down there visiting from June-August. So I'll need to save up some extra cash to help with that.. and I will be making a bunch of adopts to sell including designs with some refs and maybe holding some auctions. I still have things to do for school so I'm not sure how many I'll be able to make right now until school is out.. ;w;
Augh so much to do I just hope I can save up enough!!!

Awman, that is AWESOME! I already live with my love, best friend and soon my other best friend (who's moving in this Summer) and puppy.. and we've only got a one-bedroomed flat xD The three of us all moved together, and me and Connor took the massive bedroom while our roomie sleeps in the living room.
